About us

About the company

We market and support equipment to the construction, earthmoving, mining, quarrying, material handling, trucking and logistics industries.  Spare parts and ground engaging tools are also sold.

What we do

The company operates from Gaborone as headquarters together with a branch in Francistown.  We market and fully support with spares, repairs, services and rebuild FAW trucks, Bobcat, Sany, Manhand Forklifts, Dezzi Equipment and Stampede Compaction Equipment.  Our customers are spread out between the construction, earthmoving, mining, quarrying, logistics and material handling industries.  Central government, local authorities and parastatals are amongst our very valuable customers.  Some owners of competitor brand equipment rely on Rola Botswana to repair and service various units in their fleet.  We also sell ground engaging tools, directly imported from overseas factories as well as other spare parts.

Our history

The company started trading in early 1998 mainly as dealers for construction equipment within Botswana, marketing leading brand compaction and concrete equipment. Rola Botswana soon expanded into marketing the full range of equipment comprising motor graders, excavators, front end loaders, articulated dump trucks, compaction rollers and backhoe loaders.  In addition to FAW Trucks, Genie Aerial Platforms, Fiat /Hitachi bulldozers, Mcnay chip spreaders and road brooms.  We have also marketed and sold electrical generation sets under the GDS brand.  It is worth mentioning that the company and its technical personnel were well recognised and accepted almost from inception.   At one stage Rola Botswana sold more motor graders than any of the main competitors in Botswana.
